It's very common for people to be allergic to latex. A lot of places require the use of rubber gloves but with so many having allergic reactions to them they now have other kinds that you can use. There are certain signs that you should know about to see if you are allergic to latex.

Latex Allergic Reactions:

- The dermatitis becomes irritant with contact resulting in a burning,itching and possible dryness or scaling with the skin.
- The dermatitis might have a delayed reaction because of it being an allergic reaction. Severe cases can form when this happens and the allergic reaction might spread to parts of your body.
- You can have an allergic recation to latex right away. Hives, cramps, pink eye and other hay fever symptoms could come.

Exposure to latex can be caused by:

- When the gloves are on
- Mucous membranes with the vagina, mouth, rectum and eyes
- From the blood

If you experience severe symptoms you should call 911 or your doctor immediately. Putting it off could result in death or other severe diseases. Low blood pressure and rapid heart beating might also happen during a allergic reaction with latex.
