Is There Relief For Dust Allergies?

People that suffer with asthma and allergic rhinitis often struggle with dust allergies. Dust mites are insects that have eight legs and in one gram of dust over 100,000 mites can be found. They eat all of the dander possible that is on animals and people. When they are finished they will leave a lot of droppings. Dust mites can be anywhere such as carpet, sheets, pillows and even at the surface of your home. Wherever there is dander, they are there. Sometimes it's almost impossible to get rid of the dust mites because there are so many of them but it can be done.

Ways To Reduce Dust Mites:

- Remove any carpet and reduce upholstered furniture
- Use ADS Spray on a regular basis
- Use Allersearch X-Mite on carpets
- Clean your sheets and pillows often and use Taskmaster's products
- Groom pets with conditioning shampoos
- Use air free purification systems to help with controlling dander and other things such as odors
- Wear masks when you dust and vacuum

If you are unsure about being allergic to dust mites you can always talk with your doctor about having a allergy test done. This allergy test will confirm if you are or if you aren't allergic to them. Sometimes we might be allergic to something else that we don't even know about. That's why it's always good to get confirmation from a doctor before doing any major changes in your house.
