Alrex is an eye drop which is used to treat the allergic conditions which are seasonal in nature. It contains active ingredient known as corticosteroid which is anti inflammatory in nature. The molecular representation of alrex is given as C24H31CIO7 and the molecular weight is 466.96 g/mol. The drops of alrex contain 2 mg of loteprednol etabonate which is active component. Povidone, glycerin, tyloxapol, hydrochloric acid are some of the inactive ingredients of alrex drops. Alrex is available in the bottle packing of 5 ml and 10 ml. These bottles are made of plastic having tip to control the flow of drops. These drops must not be freeze and should be stored at temperature between 15 °C to 25 °C. It will provide temporary relief from the seasonal allergies and before its usage the bottle must be shaken vigorously. The daily dosage of these drops is 1 drop four times throughout the day. To avoid the contamination of the tip of drops, it must not be touched with hands. It must be used as prescribed by the doctor. If a dose is missed then take it immediately but at the same time make sure that two doses are not taken at the same time.
