Big amounts of histamines are a protein that is released throughout the body when the body’s immune system begins creating antibodies that are called IgE or immunoblobulin E. These work to help the body fight off disease and in the event an allergen is attacked, large amounts of histamines are released from the antibodies, thus resulting in the symptoms of an allergic reaction.
