How to Take Alrex

One standard dose is recommended for all patients treated with Alrex. The doses of Alrex should be used as one drop in affected eyes four times in a day by the adults for treating allergy related to the eyes. This medication is generally available in eye drop form. It is a suspension medication. It should be shaken properly before use.
If you are using contact lenses then remove the lenses from your eyes while using the drop.  Never insert the lenses just after using the drop. Otherwise the lenses may absorb the medication. Wait at least for 10 minutes after using this drop and then reinsert the lenses.  Never use the lenses if your eyes are red after using the medication.  Never touch the tip of the dropper to any surface.
It will increase the chance of contamination. The medication should be taken as directed by your health care provider for better effect. This drop should not be taken by mouth. In this case it would be considered as over dose of the medication. If this situation arises then immediately seek the help of your health care provider.   Never alter the dose of Alrex without the instruction of your health care provider.
